You [Janelle] have been such a presence in my life, bringing light to my journey with Lymphedema
Words can never express my gratitude for your healing hands, your gentle ways and your friendship over these past few years…
I’ve appreciated your [Janelle’s] care and presence over the past 7+ years. Through all the appointments, you not only gave me the benefit of your skilled hands, but also compassion and understanding, a calming spirit. I’d look forward to our session.
You [Janelle] will be sorely missed in the Lymphatic community in Portland. But you will be so appreciated in Eugene!
What I have seen in this field brings to light the truth about what Dr. Vodder said – “Manual Lymph Drainage Normalizes.”

My training in craniosacral therapy taught me about the effect restrictions have in the body; When there are restrictions in our tissues, the body has to work harder to achieve balance or homeostasis. Manual Lymph Drainage and Lymph Drainage Massage are greatly needed healing modalities focusing on the stress that inflammation and swelling cause the body which in turn triggers lists of dis-ease states.
In 2017 I earned my Certified Lymphedema Therapist, (CLT) I focus on the manual lymph drainage and refer out to physical therapists certified in lymphedema/lipedema treatment for compression and treatment of lymphedema and lipedema. Coming for regular MLD treatments is key to maintenance and a sense of well-being when managing lymphedema and lipedema.
